Role Overview:
As a Turbomachinery Automation Project Engineer at Honeywell's Compressor Controls Corporation (CCC), you will be responsible for leading and executing automation projects and supporting sales team technically and commercially for turbomachinery systems. Your role will involve designing, implementing, and optimizing automation solutions to improve system performance and efficiency. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and provide technical support to customers and internal stakeholders. Your work will directly impact the reliability, safety, and productivity of our customers' operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and execute automation projects for turbomachinery systems
Design and implement automation solutions to improve system performance and efficiency
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
Conduct system testing and troubleshooting to ensure proper functionality
Provide technical support and guidance to customers and internal stakeholders
Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in turbomachinery automation
Coordinate with project managers and engineers to ensure a smooth transition from proposal to project execution.
Participate in pre-bid meetings and technical discussions with clients.
Assist in preparing presentation materials for client meetings and bid presentations.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple activities
Provide fundamental technical support for the sales process, and specific assigned front-end engineering projects.
Provide technical analysis, troubleshooting and solutions
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external contacts.
Maintain sensitive and confidential information regarding company information.
Respond to change productively and handle other duties as required.
Requirements
:
bachelor's degree in engineering or related field (Preferred majors: Electrical, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electronics, Aviation, Chemical)
Fluency in English language
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
2-3 years' experience in turbomachinery automation projects is preferred
