Job Description

What you will do We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. As the Project Engineer, you will report directly to the Project Manager of Fire and Gas Systems, overseeing projects within the Oil & Gas sector in the Middle East region. Your main responsibilities will include project coordination, monitoring, and ensuring compliance with NFPA codes, QA/QC policies, and specifications. You will also be responsible for interpreting client needs and representing them in the field.

How you will do it Prepare schedules, coordinate, and monitor engineering projects for Fire and Gas detection and Protection Systems Review projects for compliance with NFPA codes, QA/QC policies, performance standards, and specifications Interact with clients on a daily basis to understand their needs and requirements Represent clients in the field and ensure their expectations are met

What we look for Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar field Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in project execution of Fire and Gas systems in the Oil & Gas sector within GCC countries Strong technical knowledge of Fire and Gas systems Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills Knowledge of project cost management, revenue generation, and invoicing Solid organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask Experience in material ordering and vendor management Previous work experience in the UAE/Oman/Kuwait/Qatar within the Oil & Gas sector Proven track record in cost estimation, recommending cost-effective solutions, and producing high-quality professional documents Fluency in English is essential Valid driving license with the ability to travel
