Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Project Engineer specializing in Aluminium Curtain Wall, Glazing, and Cladding works. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end management of specialized facade projects, ensuring technical compliance, quality standards, site safety, and timely delivery within budget constraints. A strong background in documentation submission and client coordination in the GCC region is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Planning and Documentation:

Prepare, review, and finalize all necessary technical documentation, including Material Submittals, Method Statements, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and detailed shop drawings, ensuring alignment with project specifications and local codes. Manage the full submission and approval process with the client and appointed consultants, proactively following up to minimize delays. Maintain accurate project records, documentation logs, and technical correspondence.

2. Client and Stakeholder Management:

Act as the primary technical liaison, attending all client and consultant meetings to finalize project scope, clarify technical requirements, and resolve engineering issues. Ensure effective coordination between design, procurement, and site execution teams. Proactively identify and resolve site-specific challenges through effective communication and coordination with all involved parties.

3. Site Execution and Monitoring:

Strictly monitor site progress against project schedules (look-ahead plans) and implement corrective actions as necessary to maintain timelines. Oversee and enforce quality assurance (QA/QC) processes, ensuring all installation works comply with approved documents, ITPs, and client quality standards. Implement and monitor site safety protocols, ensuring adherence to the company and client safety management systems. Manage resources efficiently on-site, focusing on minimizing material wastage and optimizing labor productivity.

4. Financial & Safety Compliance:

Maintain strict adherence to project budgets concerning materials and site resources. Champion a safety-first culture on site, ensuring compliance with all local safety regulations.
Required Qualifications and ExperienceCriteriaDetails

Education

Diploma in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.

Overall Experience

Minimum 7 years of professional work experience in project engineering or management.

Regional Experience

A minimum of 2 years of work experience specifically within GCC countries (Qatar experience preferred).

Specialization

Extensive hands-on experience and technical knowledge in

Aluminium Curtain Wall, Glazing, and Cladding works

Technical Proficiency

High level of competency in producing and reviewing shop drawings and technical details.

Software Literacy

Advanced knowledge of

AutoCAD (2D & 3D)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English for effective client interaction and documentation submission.

Management

Proven ability to manage site teams, schedules, and quality control under pressure.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: QAR6,000.00 - QAR8,000.00 per month
