Project Engineer- Electrical

JOB DESCRIPTIONS & KEY COMPETENCIES: Knowledge in International Standards like SHELL DEP, IEC, IEEE, BS and other relevant standards used in Oil and Gas industry. Preparation of Project Planning, Scheduling and Monthly Progress Reports. Good understanding of Electrical Drawings, Planning of Projects, Erection & Maintenance. Both practical as well as theoretical knowledge of Different Electrical equipment. Responsible for preparation & analysis of Single line diagrams, Load Analysis, electrical sizing calculations, Control Schematics and guide the designers for preparation of equipment, power, earthing, lighting and lightning protection layouts, Cable schedule, Bill of material and interconnection drawings. Knowledge in Hazardous area Classifications and related Electrical equipment selection. To manage the project operations with a view to ensure timely accomplishment of project targets within the time and cost parameters with good coordination with client/vendor/contractor. Monitoring environmental, health and safety, and QA compliance on site. Manage Electrical projects from inception, specification, procurement, installation, commissioning and handover to client. Expertise and proficiency with basic office computer software, e.g., word processing, Auto Cadd and spreadsheets.
