Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented

Project Engineer

with a strong background in

civil engineering

and

hands-on experience in the UAE

construction industry. The successful candidate will support the Project Manager in planning, executing, and finalizing construction projects within deadlines and budget, while ensuring compliance with UAE regulations and international standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in planning, coordination, and supervision of civil construction activities on-site. Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and local authorities to ensure smooth project execution. Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards. Monitor project progress and prepare daily/weekly reports for senior management. Support the procurement process by preparing material take-offs and requisitions. Inspect work quality and ensure compliance with quality assurance/control procedures. Identify potential construction issues and propose practical engineering solutions. Conduct site inspections and coordinate testing with QA/QC and HSE teams. Maintain project documentation, including technical reports, method statements, and shop drawings.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. Minimum of

2-8 years of experience

in civil engineering, with

at least 2 years in the UAE

. Familiarity with UAE construction regulations, municipality approvals, and local authority processes. Experience in infrastructure, residential, commercial, or industrial projects preferred. Proficiency in engineering software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit) and MS Office tools. Knowledge of project planning software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project is a plus.
