Project Director - ORAT Operational Planning & Trials Lead

What You\'ll Be Doing :

Engages stakeholders and establishes the ORAT Operational Planning & Trials workstreams and working groups.

Defines objectives and agrees Operational Planning & Trials strategies with stakeholders to address above wing (passenger operations), below wing (airside operations), baggage & cargo operations and airport logistics and ensures these are planned and budgeted appropriately.

Develops the Operational Planning & Trials plan in line with the ORAT programme and in close collaboration with stakeholder SPOC\'s.

Identifies dependencies, key status and review milestones in line with the D-360, 180, 90, 60, 30 ORAT countdown to MTC opening.

Ensures that all stakeholder operational plans and processes have been developed, reviewed and meet the demand and performance objectives of the MTC.

Manages the development of the overall MTC operational plan for MTC opening in close collaboration with all stakeholders

Manages the development and execution of airport trials; trials schedule, trial briefs, trial plans and reports in close collaboration with each stakeholder, monitors and tracks trials dependencies.

Manages and monitors the development of airport operations processes (operating proceedures) across all stakeholders.

Manages the operational planning and trials workstream and meetings and tracks operational readiness and trials progress across all stakeholders.

Manages the resolution of all operational planning and trials related issues, identifies and escalates any threats to the overall ORAT programme

What Required Skills You\'ll Bring:

Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering (or related field)

Minimum 20 years of experience in construction management/handing over of airport projects

Extensive experience of major airport programs

Significant managerial experience of a large group of Engineers, Designers, and technical support personnel

Proven ability for managing a large group of engineering/technical personnel and directing work involving complex technical situations

Excellent written and oral communications skills

Thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations are required

Must also possess a thorough knowledge of current technology and the capabilities and efficiencies of specific engineering software for use in completing engineering assignments
