Project & Development Services - MENA

JLL (P&DS) MENA provides consulting, design, management to tenants and owners, leveraging technology and digital solutions to drive outstanding service delivery.

We bring a life-cycle perspective to our clients, from development solutions to our core services in programme, project and cost management and consulting in digital solutions, sustainability, new build, fit out and workplace & design.

Role Purpose:

The successful candidate will be based in Ras Al Khaimah and be responsible for supporting the Middle East and UAE Project and Development Services heads of department in achieving the company\xe2\x80\x99s financial objectives. As a result of JLL\xe2\x80\x99s recent wins in the healthcare sector, there is an immediate project management opportunity in our healthcare team. Successful candidates will be presented with a great opportunity for career progression.

What this job involves:

Undertake day-to-day delivery of real estate development project management.

Development of Client Briefs and Project Execution Plans to deliver outputs.

Manage design teams in the development of design solutions to planning application and approval.

Administration of large, complex building contracts, proactively managing and confirming the compliance of contractors/consultants to the contract terms and conditions.

Assisting with the compilation of tender documents, and critically reviewing tender returns, contract negotiations, award of contracts and client reporting.

Development of project documentation, programs, master budget etc.

Maintaining a robust document management system so that the project team uses it to furnish a written record of project execution.

Production of reports to suit relevant stages of the projects.

Compliance with JLL governance.

Deliver projects with the framework of risk, sustainability and environmental considerations agreed at the business case/client brief stage, while maintaining focus on time, cost and quality.

Monitoring and reporting on the contractors progress against the contract programme.

Managing consultant teams to ensure that the contractor\xe2\x80\x99s design is undertaken in compliance with the contract.

Managing consultant teams to ensure that the built product is compliant with the contract.

Managing a multi disciplinary team to deliver project related activities and objectives.

Look to develop the client and account and other business through developers, consultants and the like, as and when the opportunity arises.

Desired skills and experience for this:

Ability to interface with clients, demonstrable track record in doing so.

Ability to lead/work in multidisciplinary teams.

Significant experience of project management of healthcare projects.

High quality oral and written communications (reports, instructions etc.)

Strong people management and leadership skills.

Experience of producing executive reports on a monthly basis relating to project deliverables.

Experience of sustaining client relationships as a trusted advisor.

Pro-active approach - able to identify areas of need and to manage outputs.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

A flexible attitude - able to respond to the needs of the business.

Experience to include interpretation of contracts, design and implementation of change management, resolution of contractual disputes, design and implementation of project controls, contract correspondence and financial close out of contracts.

Strong knowledge and use of document management systems to aid efficient service delivery.

Experience of programme analysis, interrogation, interpretation and client reporting.

Proven track record of working in the Middle East unless otherwise agreed.

Education and Qualifications Required:

Minimum degree in related subject BSc (Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Project Management, Architecture)
