We are looking to speak with a Project Director to help us grow our Dubai capability in the UAE.

As a member of our established team, you would be working to help us make a difference with our clients in delivering highly complex projects and programmes.

You would be based out of our Dubai office and most likely spend most of your time mixed-working with colleagues and client teams based in the UAE.

Main attributes:

• Leading, managing and developing project teams or work streams as part of larger projects and delivering results through others.
• Able to lead a significant scale Master Plan, TIS, EIA and LEED certification, including coordination of programme, budget, procurement, authority submissions and approvals.
• Commercially aware; experienced in monthly budgeting/forecasting and managing project budgets
• Client facing experience and stakeholder management skills and knowledge of UAE government agencies required to facilitate Master Plans.
• Able to write scope of services, and deliverables for Master Planning Consultant and Specialists.
• Demonstrating knowledge and experience of relevant project management skillsets.
• Creative and curious mindset
• Building long-term trusted advisor relationships with our clients;
• Communicating effectively and focusing on efficient, collaborative and quality delivery;

Desired Experience:

• Someone who has a proven track record of pre-contract Design Management experience
• Experience of project management and/or programme management, adding value at the initial strategic planning phase all the way into implementation, construction and delivery.
• Strong interpersonal skills, comfortable working with a diverse range of personalities across clients and partner organisations;
• Ability to engage and manage multiple stakeholders
• Able to deliver projects within a technically complex environment whilst ensuring high levels of safety and environmental responsibility;
• Strong analytical and numerical skills / flexibility to rapidly understand complex problems and shape these into workable solutions for delivery;
• Ability to develop and deliver high quality output against stated business and technical project objectives and meet tight deadlines safely;
• Able to develop a development/procurement strategy, advise on packaging, risks and best route to market.
• Strong planning and organising skills including the ability to manage several work streams simultaneously;
• Ability to develop concise and effective written presentations and participate effectively in meetings with senior client representatives;

Qualifications

• Relevant construction related degree.
• Professionally qualified or near qualified status with the APM, or similar professional institution would be advantageous;
