About the Role

We are seeking a visionary and decisive Project Director to lead our Design Office in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As the Project Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of design projects, from conception to completion, ensuring the highest standards of quality and client satisfaction.

Provide strategic leadership and direction for the design team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence Develop and implement project management strategies to ensure timely and on-budget delivery of design projects Oversee multiple design projects simultaneously, allocating resources effectively and managing risks Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and translate them into successful design solutions Manage client relationships, ensuring clear communication and exceeding expectations Lead and mentor a team of designers, architects, and project managers Develop and maintain partnerships with key stakeholders, including contractors and suppliers Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations in Dubai and the UAE Drive business growth by identifying new opportunities and expanding the firm's portfolio Implement and maintain quality control processes to uphold the highest standards of design excellence

What do we need from you

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field Minimum of 20+ years of experience in design project management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery Strong proficiency in design software and project management tools Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships Demonstrated expertise in budget management and resource allocation In-depth knowledge of design industry trends and best practices Thorough understanding of local building codes and regulations in Dubai and the UAE Strong strategic planning and problem-solving abilities Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is desirable Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is advantageous * Willingness to travel within the UAE and potentially to other countries in the region
