Project Director – Civil Construction
Job Description
Provide strategic leadership and direction for large-scale civil construction projects from inception to completion.
Manage all phases of project planning, execution, monitoring, and closure while ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, specifications, and industry standards.
Oversee project budgets, schedules, and resource allocations.
Ensure coordination between all project stakeholders including clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Implement risk management practices and resolve issues promptly to avoid project delays.
Lead a multidisciplinary project team and monitor their performance.
Ensure adherence to UAE regulatory requirements and safety standards on site.
Deliver regular progress reports to senior management and clients.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred).
Minimum 20-25 years of experience in civil construction, with at least 8-10 years in a leadership role within the UAE or GCC.
Proven track record of delivering high-value residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects.
Excellent knowledge of UAE construction regulations, authority approvals, and standards.
Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
PMP certification is a plus
