Job Description

Job Summary:

Project Design Manager is to plan Design project and oversee their progress along the way in a timely and cost- effective manner. Will be responsible for budgeting, organization, implementation and scheduling of the projects & supervision team management.

Duties & Responsibilities, (include but not limited to):

Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with clients and engineering teams. Develop detailed project plans, including work breakdown structures, schedules, resource allocation, and budgets. Lead and manage multi-disciplinary design teams, including civil, structural, electrical, and mechanical engineers. Lead the design team to create innovative and functional designs. Review and approve design concepts and deliverables. Ensure adherence to engineering design standards, codes, and regulations. Coordinate with other departments to ensure project alignment. Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or issues. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation effectively. Identify and mitigate project risks. Conduct design reviews and quality assurance checks. Prepare design reports, drawings, and specifications. Coordinate with clients and stakeholders to ensure project satisfaction. Stay updated on engineering design trends and industry best practices. Coordinate with Project Team in regards to ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in construction management or any relevant Engineering degree. Minimum 15-20 years of experience UPDA Grade A PMP Certification

Required Skills:

Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards Understanding of all facets of the construction process Familiarity with construction management software packages Ability to plan and see the "big picture"
