The Project Controls Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing project planning, scheduling, cost control, and resource management processes across fabrication & erection of complete project. This role ensures timely project delivery, budget adherence, risk mitigation, and accurate reporting, supporting operational and strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules using Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent tools.
Implement cost control systems to track project expenditures, forecasts, and variances.
Conduct regular project progress reviews and reporting to identify deviations, risks, and corrective actions.
Coordinate with Operations, QA/QC, Procurement, and HSE teams to ensure resource alignment and project execution.
Prepare detailed cost reports, cash flow projections, and budget analysis for senior management and clients.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, drawings, change orders, and progress logs.
Develop and implement risk management strategies and mitigation plans.
Monitor and optimize manpower and equipment allocation for effective project delivery.
Provide training and guidance to project planners, schedulers, and project engineers on project controls processes.
Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, and international standards.
Support decision-making by providing accurate and timely project performance data.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Project Management; PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
Minimum 15-20 years of experience in project controls, planning, or project management within fabrication, oil & gas, construction, or industrial sectors.
Proficiency in project scheduling, cost control, reporting tools, and project management software.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
Knowledge of international construction codes, fabrication standards, and quality management practices.
Project experience with QE, ARAMCO, ADNOC or KOC is mandatory
