The Project Controls Manager oversees all project control functions including cost management, schedule control, risk management, and reporting for large mixed-use developments. This role ensures projects remain on budget and on schedule by integrating cost and time data, forecasting variances, and recommending corrective actions. The Project Controls Manager acts as a key advisor to project leadership on performance metrics and contract compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement project cost control and reporting systems.
Monitor budgets, expenditures, and financial forecasts throughout project lifecycle.
Integrate cost and schedule data to provide comprehensive project status.
Identify and assess project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Collaborate with procurement, contracts, and finance teams for cost tracking.
Lead preparation of progress reports and presentations for senior leadership.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
10+ years experience in project controls within
real estate development or construction sectors.* Expertise in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, SAP, Oracle Primavera).
Strong analytical, financial, and risk management skills.
