Responsibilities will include:
  • Ensures the integrity of the project budget through approved scope changes, fiscal changes and contingency reallocations
  • Verifies invoices and their correct holdback, coding, and allocation
  • Verifies overhead charges and their distribution
  • Issues project cost reports including forecast final costs and variances
  • Flags significant projected overruns or underruns
  • Ensures final payments of hold back on all contracts and closing of accounts upon project completion
  • Highlight Critical Path and highlight areas of concerns to Project Management
  • Prepares Progress and Productivity status reports
  • Liaise with Project Team to develop Project Roster, Project Staffing Plan Setup Cost Reporting system
  • Prepare, update Weekly Staffing Manhours report
  • Prepare Monthly Cost report
  • Prepare Manpower Histogram and update actual and forecast manpower
  • Work closely with Project manager and team
  • Setup and prepare Change request, Change Orders and Change Order log
  • Work closely with Accounting for invoicing and payment
  • Attend Cost Review meeting
Qualifications

About You
  • Experience with thorough knowledge of and demonstrated experience in all aspects of cost engineering, planning and scheduling, and management information activities preferably in oil and gas projects.
  • Skilled in developing and implementing cost and schedule control systems, techniques, and procedures.
  • Knowledge of Project Controls systems and interfaces with other functional tools and systems
  • Knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and startup work processes
  • Skilled in oral and written communication with demonstrated skill in presenting cost engineering and planning and scheduling information to management and clients.
  • Ability to use Primavera software version 6.1 or above
  • Knowledge in Ecosys, Pert Master, Acumen Fuse
  • Skilled in Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and Word software
