Job Description

Project Controls Engineer Job Objective To provide support in schedule/cost management of projects enabling completion of project within approved baseline Description KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Project Initiation & Planning

Establish project baselines (schedule, cost) together with respective Project Managers Create agreed baselines in applicable software Primavera P6 Project Schedule Monitoring & Control

Track schedule & milestones & proactively identify/escalate delays in completion of projects Recommend preventive/corrective actions enabling timely completion of projects Project Cost Control

Track project cost against approved budgets Prepare and update project cashflow Proactively identify & escalate matters affecting project cost Recommend preventive/corrective actions enabling completion of project within budget Provide support for contract administration such as review of Progress payment Applications, compliance of basic commercial terms of contracts etc Reporting: Prepare management reports on regular basis

Assist in preparation of project management plan Assist in preparation of project closeout reports Project update reports Project Update presentations Projects Committee Reports Board Presentations Adhoc Reports Coordination with Contractors and suppliers

Attend Project Kick-off meeting Review and approve baseline programme Monitoring and controlling contractors schedule Review of contractor's Extension of time claims Attend progress meetings Assist in contractual letter/ correspondences Tender Process Management

Support Tendering documentation Monitor tender timelines based on the project baseline programme. Monitoring and reporting of Tender process SAP Support Activities

Handling Project system module in SAP Creating Project definitions/ WBS elements Creating Purchase requisition and LVPOs Create Service entry sheets Job Requirements Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Minimum Experience

5 years of relevant experience in Planning, scheduling, monitoring, and controlling Working experience on any ERP application like SAP Experience in handling multiple projects simultaneously Experience in preparing and reviewing Extension of time claims. Experience in precontract activities such as tender process. Advanced knowledge of Excel. Working Experience on any ERP application like SAP. #J-18808-Ljbffr
