Job Title: Project Architect

:

We are an established architectural design company based in Dubai, seeking an experienced

Project Architect

to lead the design and execution of diverse construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing schematic and design development drawings based on approved concepts, and for overseeing the entire project lifecycle from design through construction completion.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the Principal Architect and Design Manager to review project briefs and develop design concepts.

Prepare space planning proposals for residential, commercial, and public building projects.

Develop soft and hard landscape designs, including proposals for water features and external lighting.

Produce detailed 2D CAD and Revit construction drawings for commercial, industrial, and residential projects.

Supervise and guide a team of draftsmen to deliver execution drawings and construction documentation.

Prepare finishing schedules, material legends, window and door schedules, with detailed specifications.

Develop design timeline programs in coordination with engineers (MEP, Structural, Interior, Landscape, QS, etc.).

Coordinate with structural, mechanical, electrical engineers, interior designers, and other specialists/subconsultants.

Act as a liaison between the design office and the construction team to ensure smooth communication.

Conduct site visits to verify adherence to construction drawings and design intent.

Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with specifications.

Prepare progress reports, updated schedules, and revised budgets as required.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Design, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years' experience in the UAE/GCC region within a consultant architectural firm.

Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards.

In-depth knowledge of international architectural standards, fire codes, and regulatory requirements.

Excellent familiarity with local authority approvals (Municipality, Civil Defence, DEWA, RTA, etc.).

Proven portfolio of completed projects.

Proficiency in drafting and design software: AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp.

Competence in Microsoft Office applications.

Excellent English communication, reporting, and presentation skills.

Ability to translate design concepts into functional construction drawings and documents.

Advanced project management and organizational skills.

Strong capability in value engineering and cost optimization.

Comprehensive knowledge of finishing materials and specifications.

Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders on a daily basis.

Understanding of construction costs, timelines, and resource planning.
