We are currently seeking a Programme Manager - Smart Metering to join our team.

The Programme Manager will lead the overall Smart Metering Programme in the UAE, ensuring coordinated delivery across Meters, communications services, HES, MDMS, IT, and Testing streams. The role oversees planning, governance, and performance monitoring to achieve programme objectives on time and within budget. Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and strategic delivery experience in large, multi-vendor environments are essential.

• Lead overall programme governance, planning, and execution.
• Coordinate all project streams and interdependencies.
• Manage stakeholder engagement with client and partner organisations.
• Monitor risks, budget, timelines, and scope adherence.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulatory and cybersecurity standards.
• Report progress and escalate issues through Talan's PMO framework.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in programme delivery within utilities or smart metering.
• Proven experience managing multi-vendor, multi-stream programmes.
• Strong communication and leadership skills in multicultural environments.
• PMP, MPM, or MSP certification beneficial.
