Job Overview TE Connectivity's Operations Managers are responsible for the day-to-day operations and short/long-term planning for the groups they manage. They manage manufacturing, production control, engineering, inventory control, EH&S, shipping/receiving, etc. focusing on the development of technologies and continuous improvement and translating customer requirements into state-of-the-art manufacturing strategies and processes.

Tasks Summary & Responsibilities

Manufacturing Project Management Program Manager is the central contact and coordination person for all projects for North Africa organization. Lead and track the agreed projects coordination & execution, ensure timely information/escalation in case of bottlenecks, and prepare pragmatic action plans/proposals for management approval Leadership of North Africa MF Project Management. Collaborate closely with all operations and suppliers according to standard procedure Take the appropriate action when problems occur, raising concerns to the next level of Management if required Regularly reporting to Management on a weekly basis Maintain communication direct with relevant departments to effectively drive the projects

Localization (Transfer) Program Management Develop mid/long term localization operational plans, following the North Africa business strategy and timeline Oversee all North Africa transfer activities: Insourcing to drive TE North Africa Localization efforts Outsourcing to local suppliers to build up our Eco-System Define and set processes and metrics to drive localization Program Execution Engage and empower cross functional teams to accelerate Manufacturing localization pace Set framework for strong and sustainable business cases for localization to North Africa Coordinate and align Localization execution plans with all stakeholders within EMEA Organization and the local Operations/Business teams (Sales, Operations, Procurement, Quality, Engineering) Make recommendation to improve or adjust localization strategy plans according to Operations and Business evolution Make recommendation for Operations/Manufacturing Organization or Capex adjustment when needed to support the Localization strategy execution plan

North Africa Sustaining team lead Disciplinary lead the local sustaining team (dotted line reporting)

Qualifications and Requirements for the role:

Bachelor or master's degree in engineering 5+years of project management experience with a manufacturing background Knowledge of core processes Molding, Assembly, Stamping, Plating, Cable Assembly Strong leadership and communication skills Committed, entrepreneurial, proactive working attitude Strong analytical and conceptual, problem-solving skills, pragmatic, approach (80/20), decision making Fluent English and French both written and spoken.
