The responsibility of the production supervisor is to oversee the day to day operations of a mass production sofa factory and provide leadership to the team. Only candidates with experience in Furniture industry apply. Key Accountabilities:
- Responsible for planning and organizing production schedules, supervising production processes, and ensuring quality control of all in-house production.
- Ensuring that health and safety regulations are met, and maintaining a clean and tidy workplace is also among their key responsibilities.
- Assessing project and resource requirements, and making decisions about the required resources are also part of their duties.
- Build strong working relationships with other departments and team members to facilitate fruitful collaborations.
- Ensure all machinery, equipment, and hand tools are maintained in good condition. They organize repairs and routine maintenance of production equipment.
- Ensure all production data is processed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Train, mentor, and motivates the workforce.
- Establish and maintain designated workspaces and storage areas.
- Previous experience in sofa manufacturing industry.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills are essential for managing the team.
- Motivational and influencing skills are needed to inspire the team to perform at their best and should be approachable.
- Being organized and able to prioritize tasks is important for ensuring smooth production processes.
