Job Summary

The Production Supervisor - Night Shift is responsible for overseeing and coordinating production activities during night operations to ensure safety, quality, productivity, and timely completion of targets. The role involves managing shop-floor staff, monitoring processes, and reporting production performance.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate all production activities during the night shift.

Ensure daily and weekly production targets are achieved as per the production plan.

Monitor workflow, manpower deployment, and machine utilization for optimal efficiency.

Enforce company policies, safety regulations, and housekeeping standards.

Ensure product quality and compliance with approved specifications and standards.

Identify and resolve production issues, machine breakdowns, and manpower concerns promptly.

Maintain accurate shift reports, production records, and employee attendance.

Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, and Warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations.

Train, guide, and motivate operators to improve productivity and performance.

Report shift performance, challenges, and corrective actions to the Production Manager.

Minimum Educational Qualifications:

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Production Engineering (preferred).

Minimum

2-5 years

of experience in a

sewing/garment manufacturing environment

.

Prior supervisory experience is

mandatory

.

Experience handling night shift operations is an added advantage.

Strong knowledge of garment production techniques and operation sequences.

Knowledge of sewing techniques and production operations time studies.

Key Competencies:

Strong leadership and people management skills.

Sound understanding of production processes and safety standards.

Ability to work independently and handle responsibility during night shifts.

Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Basic computer skills (MS Excel, reporting).

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Language proficiency:

Hindi and English (mandatory)
