Production Supervisor
Job Title: Production Supervisor
Department: Production / Manufacturing
Reports To: Production Manager
Job Summary:
The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a production line or shift. This leadership role focuses on achieving production targets, maintaining quality standards, ensuring the safety of the team, and optimizing processes for efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:

• Team Management: Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of production workers. Assign tasks, manage shift schedules, and monitor employee performance.
• Production Planning: Ensure the production line meets daily output targets as per the production schedule. Allocate resources effectively to maximize efficiency.
• Quality Assurance: Enforce strict quality control standards on the line. Conduct in-process inspections and work with the QA/QC department to resolve any non-conformities.
• Safety Enforcement: Promote a culture of safety. Ensure all team members follow safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE. Investigate and report any incidents or near-misses.
• Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the production process. Suggest and implement continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean Manufacturing).
• Reporting: Prepare daily production reports, including output, efficiency, downtime, and manpower utilization. Report to the Production Manager.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and health & safety standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and experience with ERP systems.
• Ability to work under pressure and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
