Job Summary: Looking for a Production Supervisor in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE)

Job Key Details:

• Coordinate and supervise the daily production activities of the shipping department
• Ensure the efficient utilization of resources
• Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with company standards and procedures
• Identify and resolve any issues or bottlenecks that may arise during production
• Offer effective leadership to the production team, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment
• Allocate tasks and responsibilities to team members ensuring a balanced workload and efficient use of skills
• Continuously evaluate production processes and identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency, productivity and cost reduction
• Develop and implement process enhancements, automation as well as technological solutions to optimize operations
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to enhance individual and team performance
• Carry out regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations in the production area
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth coordination of activities and effective communication
• Implement quality control measures to ensure all products meet or exceed customer specifications
• Implement corrective actions to address any quality or compliance issues promptly
• Oversee and coach employees
• Ensure safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance

Job Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor\'s Degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
• Proven experience in a production supervisor or similar role within a shipping or logistics environment
• Strong knowledge of shipping processes, including packaging, labeling as well as documentation
• Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team
• Solid understanding of quality control principles and the ability to implement and monitor quality standards
• Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to use relevant software tools to track and analyze production performance
• Good organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Must be currently available in the UAE
