Production Planning & Control Specialist

Main Duties

Operational planning and dispatching of production tasks on

turning, milling, and laser equipment

. Scheduling and monitoring machine workloads to ensure maximum efficiency. Organizing and placing external orders (e.g., painting, subcontracted processes). Monitoring warehouse stock levels and operational liquidity of materials. Updating, replenishing, and maintaining accurate stock records. Identifying shortages and issuing timely purchase requests to the procurement department. Reviewing and interpreting

technical drawings

to define material and process requirements. Supporting assembly and production teams with technical knowledge. Coordination with subcontractors and suppliers: placing orders, negotiating lead times, monitoring execution. Preparing daily/weekly reports on material flow, stock levels, and production progress.

Mandatory Requirements

Work experience in production planning, dispatching, or materials control. Strong knowledge of

machining processes (turning, milling), laser cutting

operations. Understanding of

assembly technologies

and finishing processes (painting, coating). Ability to read and interpret engineering/technical drawings. Experience in warehouse/materials management and stock control. Strong organizational and multitasking skills; ability to react quickly to shortages or production changes. Good communication and negotiation skills for working with contractors and suppliers. Confident PC skills (ERP/MRP systems, MS Excel, or similar). Responsibility, attention to detail, and problem-solving mindset.
