Job Description

Process Management and Optimization:

Develop, implement, and monitor production processes to ensure efficient and cost-effective manufacturing. Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance productivity and reduce waste. Utilize lean manufacturing principles to streamline operations and improve workflow.

Quality Assurance:

Establish and maintain quality control procedures to ensure products meet industry standards and customer specifications. Conduct regular inspections and audits of production processes and finished products. Collaborate with the quality assurance team to address and resolve quality issues.

Production Planning and Scheduling:

Assist in the development of production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize resource utilization. Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as necessary to address delays or changes in demand. Coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.

Equipment and Maintenance:

Oversee the installation, operation, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment. Ensure equipment is properly calibrated and maintained to prevent downtime and ensure consistent product quality. Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate repairs with the maintenance team.

Safety and Compliance:

Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, including OSHA and other relevant guidelines. Conduct safety training and drills to maintain a culture of safety awareness.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

Collect and analyze production data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Prepare and present reports on production performance, efficiency, and quality metrics. Utilize data to make informed decisions and recommendations to management.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with the production team, quality assurance, supply chain, and other departments to achieve production goals. Provide technical support and guidance to production staff. Participate in cross-functional teams to address production challenges and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in steel pole production or a similar industry.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in CAD software, manufacturing process design, and familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.

Analytical Skills:

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

Communication Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Attention to Detail:

High level of attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining quality standards.

Leadership:

Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate production teams, manage projects, and implement process improvements.
