Job Description

Objective:

To plan, coordinate, and oversee the production processes in order to ensure timely and efficient production of street lighting poles, steel fabrication, and hot-dip galvanizing products while meeting quality standards and optimizing resources.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Planning:

Develop and implement production schedules based on customer orders, inventory levels, and production capacity. Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as necessary to meet deadlines.

Resource Management:

Determine manpower, equipment, and raw material requirements for production. Coordinate with procurement and inventory teams to ensure the availability of required resources.

Process Optimization:

Analyze production workflows to identify bottlenecks and improve efficiency. Recommend and implement process improvements to reduce waste and costs.

Data Management:

Maintain accurate records of production activities, including job orders, material usage, and output. Prepare regular reports on production performance, delays, and challenges.

Collaboration:

Work closely with the design, quality, and maintenance teams to ensure alignment with production goals. Communicate with the sales and customer service teams to update order statuses and resolve customer queries.

Quality Assurance:

Ensure that all production activities adhere to quality standards and customer specifications. Coordinate with the Quality Control team to address and resolve quality issues.

Health and Safety:

Enforce compliance with health and safety regulations in the production area. Participate in safety audits and implement corrective actions as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in production planning, preferably in the steel fabrication or galvanizing industry. Hands-on experience with ERP systems and production planning software.

Technical Skills:

Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, particularly steel fabrication and galvanizing. Proficient in production planning tools and techniques.

Soft Skills:

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Work Environment:

The role is based in a manufacturing facility with exposure to industrial equipment and processes.

Pay: Up to AED6,000.00 per month
