Production Operator (Promotional Gifts, Printing & Design)

Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Production Operator with strong experience in Adobe Illustrator, graphic design, and promotional gift printing/engraving. The ideal candidate will handle the complete production process for customized gift items--from artwork preparation to machine operation--ensuring high-quality output and on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities:Design & Artwork Preparation

Create, edit, and prepare vector artwork using Adobe Illustrator and other design tools. Ensure designs are properly formatted for various printing and engraving methods (laser, UV, sublimation, screen printing, etc.). Collaborate with the sales or marketing team to finalize artwork according to client requirements.
Printing & Engraving Operations

Operate and maintain printing, laser engraving, and cutting machines for promotional gift items. Set up machines, load materials, and adjust settings to achieve precise quality. Perform test runs, quality checks, and ensure accurate color and placement alignment.
Production & Quality Control

Follow production schedules and prioritize tasks to meet delivery deadlines. Inspect finished products for quality consistency, accuracy, and finishing standards. Report any technical or production issues promptly to the supervisor. Maintenance & Safety Conduct basic maintenance and cleaning of production equipment. Maintain a clean and organized workspace following safety protocols. Keep track of inventory for materials, consumables, and tools.
Requirements:

Proven experience in production or design for promotional gift items, printing, or related industries. Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator (CorelDRAW knowledge is an advantage). Hands-on experience with laser engraving, UV printing, heat transfer, or screen printing. Strong attention to detail, creativity, and a good eye for color and layout. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines. Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn machine operations.
Education & Experience:

Diploma or certificate in Graphic Design, Printing Technology, or related field (preferred).
Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of different printing materials (metal, wood, glass, acrylic, fabric, etc.) Familiarity with laser engraving software similar Basic knowledge of color management and print setup Team player with good communication skills
