General Summary:

The Production Operator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the production of high-quality concrete products. This position involves overseeing production processes, checking the machine parameters, implementing corrective actions, and maintaining adherence to quality standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Key Accountabilities)

Machinery Oversight

: Conduct regular inspections of machinery and update operational status accordingly.

Process Improvement

: Identify and implement opportunities to improve processes, aiming to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.

Documentation

: Maintain accurate records, including production reports, planned and unplanned downtime, and machine utilization logs.

Training

: Train production personnel on standard procedures, operational techniques, and best practices.

Problem Solving

: Investigate production quality issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

People & Safety

: Ensure all activities comply with HSE policies and procedures, fostering a safe and compliant work environment.

Preventive Maintenance

: Collaborate with maintenance technicians to ensure timely and effective preventive maintenance.

Breakdown Maintenance

: Coordinate with maintenance teams to resolve equipment breakdowns promptly, minimizing production disruption.

Continual Improvement

: Actively participate in continual improvement initiatives to refine quality systems and production processes.

Strong understanding of machine parameters Hess / Massa cement-based product manufacturing processes and electrical / mechanical troubleshooting Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Proficiency/working knowledge in relevant Microsoft Office Suite.

Minimum Education Qualifications (Must Haves)

Preferred professional training (Nice to have)

Diploma/ITI in electrical / mechanical engineering

PLC / SCADA/ Hydraulic PTW / LOTO certification

Professional Experience (Must Haves)

Experience Recommended (Nice to have)

Minimum of 5 + years of experience in blocks / interlocks manufacturing plant Hess/ Masa



Previous experience in similar position * Experience in troubles shooting in electrical / Mechanical.
