Reporting to - Head of Production

Main Objectives

Production manager should be multitasker to oversee several operations at a time. Responsible for the technical management, supervision, and control of production processes. Responsible for allocating labour resources, create and tracking production schedules; ensure required materials are selected and purchased; and cost adjustments to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Overseeing the daily operations of the production.
Drafting a timescale for the job and monitoring the production for schedule adjustment.
Create and track production process and schedules; do a timescale for the job and monitor schedule adjustment.
Evaluates machine resources to ensure continuous production and minimal downtime.
To negotiate with related matters in mechanical, machinery, generating assets and equipment as well as selection and maintenance of equipment.
Identifies the best tools and technologies to help manage work-flow and optimise the implementation and deployment.
Liaising among different departments, e.g., suppliers, managers.
Provides regular status and capacity plan updates with the team and to the Upper management.
Observe safe working practices to maintain safety in the workshop and identify improvements if needed.
Identify and report recurrent problems and to make assessments to be made of working practices and the possibilities of implementing changes to improve productivity.
Ensures that products and services are produced efficiently; that they are of the right quality, quantity, and cost effective; and on time.
Estimating costs and setting quality standards.
Supporting, motivating, and providing guidance to your team and to review their performance.
Preparing a pre-production (planning) stage as well as the production (control and supervision) stage.
Develop work-flow policies and procedures that improve efficiency without compromising safety and quality.

Qualifications & Profile:

Degree in any Engineering or equivalent
5 years Experienced in stainless steel sheet manufacturing/fabrication of industrial kitchen.
Sound knowledge of operating Laser and bending machine - (Trumpf / Trutops Boost / Salvagnini).
Strong managerial Skills
Production & quality system management skills.
Outstanding communication ability with very good command in English & Arabic
Attention to detail
Driving license is a plus.
Good Knowledge in Health & SAFETY Environment and quality of the product
