This position reports directly to the Morocco Plant Manager and is responsible for all aspects of operations management in the plant, including planning, organizing and leading manufacturing departments to drive performance to stated goals. This will be accomplished by leading Production Team in driving Continuous Improvement through the application of the MSA Operating System, and providing strategic direction to ensure associates at all levels are engaged in the process of continuous improvement, problem solving, lean initiatives, etc. It also requires significant interaction with corporate and functional support groups to ensure a safe work environment, timely NPD launches, strong delivery performance and customer service, high quality levels, and continuous cost and process improvements in an effort to achieve Operational Excellence and favorable financial results.

· Leading the plant, maintaining the right mix of skills, staff size, and development activities to achieve organizational objectives. · Collaboratively setting objectives for supervisors and group leaders, monitor progress · Evaluating, providing coaching and support collaborator aspirations to achieve development and plant future needs. · Proposing and implementing training plan for production team · Managing Day to Day the supervisors and their teams (by proxy). · Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with individuals at all organizational levels, both inside and outside the Morocco plant

· Driving safe practices in all workshops of the plant. · Engaging associates to participate in proactive safety and ergonomic programs including Behavior Based Safety, etc. · Ensuring systems and procedures are in place to meet Local and MSA regulatory compliance

· Ensuring products are produced in accordance with design requirements, production processes adhere to the MSA Quality Management System and regulatory agencies and customer issues are resolved in a timely manner · Promoting customer satisfaction and continuous improvement of the experience with structured problem-solving methodologies such as 5 Why, 8D and PDCA approach

· Establishing production processes / systems to ensure customers delivery expectations are met · Overseeing the planning and organizing of the production schedules · Planning and organizing production schedules · Assessing resources and allocating as necessary: planning and strategizing for future needs. · Checking plant productivity performance analysing gap and driving actions

30% 5. Continuous Improvement / Product Cost Reduction
· Deploying MSA Operating System for plant performance KPI's tracking · Analysing gap and driving action plans · Driving and tracking continuous improvement activities: gemba, kaizen and projects · Collaborating with supply chain, engineering and continuous improvement groups on projects to reduce product costs. · Monitoring and ensuring accuracy of data in SAP as well as ensure accurate reporting of such data.(Raw mat consumption, operation times, inventories ....) · Proposing multi-year saving plan for production and track the current year plan

· collaborating with NPD and industrialization teams to introduce new products and process into production, on schedule and within budget and product cost price

Qualifications
Exigences du poste / High Level Requirements of Position: Experience (required):
· 3 years of production supervisory or project management experience required · 4 years of production or related experience · Demonstrated success in the development of individuals skills and abilities · Proven excellent team-building skills, including the ability to select appropriate methods and utilize a flexible interpersonal style to help motivate and build a cohesive team · Demonstrated leadership to drive execution · Proven excellent decision-making skills and ability to delegate decision-making authority to others · Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams · Proven strong business and financial acumen to drive organization results · Fluent English, written and verbal. Confident in business discussions Experience (preferred):
· 5 years of production supervisory in an automotive international environment · Knowledge in sewing assembly, thermos compression molding and painting processes · Field experience in leading lean, 6-Sigma, Continuous Improvement, or EHS initiatives · Experience in managing others in supervisory roles · Multi-department, multi-shift experience · SAP knowledge
Education (required): · Bachelor's Degree in Business or related technical field required · Masters, advanced degree in engineering or production management Education (preferred): · Master 2 in production management · 6-Sigma certification Travel: Estimated 5% Budgetary Responsibility:
