Role Summary:
Preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements and implementing changes. Enhance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different request; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishment. Meet financial objectives by timely forecasting requirements; preparing annual budget; analyzing variance and initiating corrective actions in responsibility. Oversees coordinate and control the manufacturing process and ensure that goods and services are produced efficiently and that the correct amount is produced at the right cost and of highest quality of JP standards. To ensure meeting the production department quality goals as well as playing a key role in meeting a companywide profitability and customer satisfaction goals. Provide leadership and a work environment that fosters pride in being part of a winning team and promotes personal growth and responsible for company's vision and mission. Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor that reflects the company's commitment to quality, continuous improvement, and respect for individuals.
  • Guide the production team to produce and prioritize jobs and, when necessary, reorganize to meet deadline changes and updates.
  • Comply with all safety requirements.
  • Follow systems and procedures outlined in the company manuals.
  • Ensure company's policy and procedures.
  • Maintain a positive department attitude and ensure that everything is aligned with company goals.
  • Meet all assigned goals and assist others in accomplishing their goals.
  • Meet all customer commitments through the production of timely, efficient, and high-quality products and service.
  • Assured all work, entered production follows the entry standards and procedures.
  • Update and maintain production schedule. Organize workflow according to workload to meet delivery schedules and complete assigned jobs.
  • Maintain production record and provide information to customer and management about delivery dates, schedules, and operating problems.
  • Coordinate and schedule for training of the standard procedures.
  • Schedule, plan and conduct morning production meeting.
  • Coordinate, update and communicate production schedule.
  • Oversee all staff scheduling, time off requests and overtime.
  • Manage and coordinate and control of all jobs/work orders.
  • Monitor quality accuracy, and timeliness of all orders to ensure customer commitments are met through production of high-quality products that meet customer delivery expectations.
  • Ensure all staffs has the resource, operating applications (SAP} and information to perform their job.
  • Ensure the completion of all duties with a minimum of wastage and abuse of equipment
  • Ensure employees safety training is conducted as required by Company Policy.
  • Leads & develops the ideas for all departmental meetings which includes supervisors meeting, daily pre-shifts and all that pertains to operations and job position trainings.
  • Develops process details, Log sheets, SOPs in responsibility.
  • Handles multiple priorities, works under pressure, and exercises good judgment when dealing with monthly production targets.
  • Initiate hiring when needed to cope with expanding workload or for the replacement of the substandard employee.
  • Conduct training or authorize training of the employees.
  • Conduct formal performance review per Company Policy.
  • Take all actions to manage production costs to improve profitability
  • Keeps the products cost (yield and labor hours) department expenses within the specified limits and take initiatives to improve productivity.
  • Ensure stock audits are conducted and accurate records are maintained.
  • Advice superior on Capital improvements needed to increase Company productivity.
  • Evaluate production equipment cost/benefit analysis.
  • Schedule, delegate and ensure of all equipment maintenance following maintenance procedure.
  • Coordinate and manage all inventory supplies to ensure minimum waste.
  • Receive and issue purchase requisition of materials.
  • Maintain a safe work environment and ensure the maintenance and upkeep of the physical location.
  • Ensures the preventive maintenance, optimum operability, and inventory management of all production equipment.
Qualifications:
  • Saudi National is preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in related field.
  • Bachelor of B-Pharmacy /Master of B-Pharmacy
  • Knowledge of local and international cGMP regulations.
  • Comprehensive pharmaceutical process knowledge of all type of dosage form.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills: proven leadership involving managing, developing, and motivating teams to achieve their objectives.
