Production Manager Furniture Manufacturing & Fit Out

Job Description
We are a furniture manufacturing company based in Um Al Quwain looking for a technically oriented factory production manager. If you have experience in furniture manufacturing & Fit-outs, and the ability to increase productivity, reducing costs and production planning we\xe2\x80\x99d like to meet you. Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that the production is cost effective, also updating and improving whenever and wherever possible.
- Monitoring the production processes and adjusting schedules as needed.
- Overseeing the production process and drawing up a production schedule.
- Making sure that products are produced on time and are of good quality;
- Calculating and ensuring the availability of human and material resources needed.
- Estimating costs and setting the quality standards.
- Being responsible for the selection and maintenance of equipment.
- Monitoring product standards and implementing quality-control programs.
- Maximize the factory\'s performance, while minimizing any delays to ensure we meet deadlines.
- Complete production planning phase and ensure everything is according to the plan set
- Supervise and handle all the job orders within the set time and operating budget.
- Handle all the production team including job orders, work standards, processes flow, inspection reports.
- Experience in Furniture Manufactures is a must.
- B.Sc. Mechanical/ Production Engineering or any relevant qualification
- 5 to 8 years experience in a similar job post
- Strong leadership abilities.
- Great attention to detail and organizational skills.
