Job Description

The following are your job responsibilities as assigned to you but not limited to, as additional duties may be assigned to you from time to time.

• Conducting site surveys of new projects.
• Co-ordination of other traits and disciplines involved in the projects by other sub-contractors.
• Co-ordination of work program based on clients' hand-over dates and site program.
• Ensuring co-ordination with Site Engineers.
• Ensuring correct submission of Method Statement and Risk Assessment.
• Coordinating with Drafting Department regarding production, design as well as updates related to variations arising from site meetings and relaying the same to the Estimation Department.
• Ensuring timely placement of orders for material required for production by submitting requisitions to Purchase/ Accounts Department.
• Ensuring smooth work flow on the shop floor by allocating responsibilities to the Production Foremen.
• Ensuring all safety and health measures are in order and strictly observed by all workers on the shop floor as well as at various sites.
• Coordinating with Storekeeper and Maintenance In-Charge to ensure availability of all tools and for the up-keep of all equipment, tools and machinery.
• Ensuring accuracy of all shop drawings prepared by Drafting Department before submitting to clients' consultants for implementation of correct cutting lists for approved drawings minimizing wastage of materials and labor.
• Regularly attending sub-contractor's meetings at site to ensure smooth coordination and implementation of site work.
• Inspecting finished products for maintaining strict control on QA/QC.
• Preparing minutes of all site meetings in conjunction with the Site Engineers. Corresponding with Client Representatives/ Site Engineers/ Project Manager of client on a regular basis.
• Ensure timely delivery of material to sites.
• Coordinating with companies' sub-contractors to ensure timely and correct competitive work is being carried out and inspecting the finished job for quality control.
• Coordinating with Site Engineers and Production Team for providing mock-ups for client inspection ensuring correctness of finishes to avoid reworking of the item.
• Attending to all snagging works received from clients and ensuring their timely correction.
• Minimizing raw material wastage and possible recycle manufacturing waste for alternative usage.
• Regular visits to sites to ensure correct and speedy installation work being carried out.
• Ensure performance of sub-contractors is up to mark and work is carried out by them on time, maintaining strict quality control.
• Maintaining all records and following procedures related to ISO 9001: 2008 & 14001:2015 manual.
• Any other responsibility delegated by the Managing Director/CEO from time to time.
