Your Role Your role is to be the responsible manager for Production within the Sourcing and Production. The team consists of employees representing disciplines for Planning, Production and Warehouse. You will be accountable for all Production activities, focus on the production, planning and warehouse operation. Build up and continuous development of your team in line with business needs. Set and continuous development of Ways of Working Support and take an active role together with the project teams. Take an active role when we need to set up an ERP/MPS system within the organization. Building relations with internal and external interfaces The role will be responsible for budget, recruitments, competence development, individual objectives and performance evaluations, participate in future business planning, administration and process support in the projects.

Your skills and experience It is advantageous if you experience from leading positions within the Planning and Production area, and it is equally important that you have a desire to be a part of continued build-up of the entity and operation in the UAE. You have strong business understanding, customer focus and skills to combine strategic thinking with operational actions You have proven ability to take decisions to improve profitability You are curious and inspired by new challenges and you have a well-developed understanding and willingness to learn about different cultures, which is crucial in this multi-cultural environment. You have a good ability to manage processes and cooperate with people. You are a team player supporting and helping the entire company.

Requirements for this role are: Minimum 5 years of experience from management responsibilities within production and planning. Proven extensive experience of leadership, production, planning and logistics. Proven experience from strategic development, as well tactical operations You are a driven person with the ability to generate energy and leads in accordance with Saab values. You have experience from recruiting and developing well-performing teams in a growth phase. You have appropriate professional or postgraduate qualification in a business oriented or technical discipline, and you have excellent skills in spoken and written English. You have experience from work in accordance to a certified management system (processes) Driver's license Merit is also experienced from export control compliance. Another merit is Arabic in contacts with authorities.

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
