Job Description

Due to continued growth, we are looking for a pro-active, and highly motivated Production Manager to join our successful team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to plan, organize and direct optimum day to day operations of a manufacturing facility to exceed the expectations of both internal and external customers. As Production Manager you must have the ability to motivate people and maximise equipment efficiently whilst maintaining an incident free facility. Core responsibilities.

• Oversees manufacturing and materials departments to review production and operating reports and resolve operational, manufacturing and facility problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays whilst maintaining current quality standards triggering corrective actions where required
• Increase production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards
• Responsibility of production output, product quality and on-time shipping targets as set by the leadership
• Reviews and supports engineering and sales to oversee design concepts with fundamental or innovative technology used for new or existing products or improvement to provide cost reduction, safety, customer requirements and market growth.
• Reviews operations and plans to meet requirements for sales planning and to ascertain manufacturing or outsourcing requirements to develop new markets.
• Reviews and approves preparation of accounting analysis for budgetary planning and implementation, production efficiency, financial reporting, budgetary planning, and submittal for capital expenditures.
• Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus
• Recruit, manage and develop a team of manufacturing staff, creating a safe, trusting, and respectful working environment
• Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics, and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets and identify areas of waste in both raw materials and overtime
• Stay up to date with latest production management best practices and concepts

The position is based in our Abu Dhabi Manufacturing facility and reports to the VP Eastern Hemisphere. The Ideal candidate must have demonstrable experience in a similar manufacturing management role, must have the ability to motivate and manage large teams at all levels, team player, experience with budgets and maximising productivity.
