Job Purpose:
The Production Engineer (Night Shift) is responsible for supervising and coordinating all fabrication, welding, and finishing activities during night operations to ensure quality, productivity, and safety standards are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate production activities in metal fabrication, welding, and assembly areas during night shift. Review shop drawings and ensure fabrication accuracy according to project specifications. Monitor daily progress and report production output, material usage, and any deviations. Ensure machines, tools, and equipment are properly operated and maintained. Coordinate with Quality Control to inspect finished items before transfer to site or coating. Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and housekeeping standards. Troubleshoot technical issues in coordination with the maintenance team. Optimize manpower allocation and reduce downtime. Prepare shift handover reports for the day-shift production engineer and factory manager. Train and guide team leaders and workers to improve skill and efficiency.
