Overview

Overseeing production processes, ensuring that quality work is carried out safely and efficiently. Liaising with other engineers to develop plans that improve production, costs and work required. Diagnosing problems on the production line and providing recommendations and training. Establishing safety procedures and protocols that take into account the well-being of workers and that also minimize the carbon footprint. Keeping abreast of advances in engineering and manufacturing, and sharing knowledge with colleagues. Identifying, documenting and reporting unsafe practices. Drafting production plans and budgets for projects. Scheduling meetings with relevant departments and stakeholders. Analyzing all aspects of production and making recommendations for improvement. Obtaining any necessary materials and equipment. Performs other related duties as assigned. #

Job Requirements

Degree in civil, structural or mechanical engineering Have experience in the field of production-assembly of aluminum-pvc doors and windows Knowledge of manufacturing processes, fabrication methods, and tool design. Familiarity with production equipment and quality assurance techniques. Commitment to health and safety standards and environmental regulations. Well-versed in relevant software (e.g. CAD, MS Office).
