Please speak to the Talent Acquisition team to find out more information.What does a Production Director do at Hogarth?Our client is one of the world\'s most recognised brands, a global technology company who consistently delivers innovation combined with beautiful design. The Production Director is responsible for leading production delivery the newly formed CEMEA region. This involves bringing together a talented team of Studio specialists and inspiring them to produce at the highest standard. The Production Director is responsible for guiding all production teams (Channel, Content, Video) through a transition phase, whilst ensuring continuous delivery throughout. The result will be a high skilled and collaborative production team delivering measurable efficiencies and improved productivity year on year.Key measures of success:
  • Continuous delivery of all CEMEA production, striving for excellence at every step.
  • Develop a strong partnership with clients and global Hogarth network.
  • Effective team leadership across multiple locations, ensuring consistent utilisation and improved productivity.
  • Highly trained studio team across multiple disciplines.
  • Implementation of global initiatives, delivering against the business and client needs.
  • Ability to change and influence, ensuring CEMEA is leading the way on the global stage.
Key Responsibilities:Leadership and team management
  • Lead a studio for localisation of all Content and Channel Marketing communications on the agencyside.
  • Bring together a diverse team of studio managers, artwork leads and designers across multiple locations to ensure an efficient production setup, producing high quality output at scale.
  • Lead by example, to build an inclusive team culture, where collaboration, fresh thinking, a can-do attitude and Hogarth values are embedded within the team DNA.
  • Review team structure and resource on an ongoing basis and, with the help of data, ensure the client is serviced appropriately whilst maintaining agreed profitability.
  • Ensure the team are well utilised (KPI driven) and performing to the high standard.
Plan, resource, and manage large campaign launches.
  • Ensure the best production talent is on the team and provide mentoring to achieve excellence.
  • Plan and coordinate training/onboarding for incoming and existing teams.
  • Conduct and manage performance appraisals for direct reports.
  • Point of escalation for Hogarth internal production teams.
Collaboration
  • Successfully establish a trusted and strong partnership with key clients.
  • Build strong internal relationships across Hogarth and ensure successful collaboration of the production team with other Hogarth functions - essential to Hogarth\'s success.
  • Build a success partnership with Project Director to ensure 100% delivery across Content and Channel functions.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the Hogarth business model, services and technology.
  • Able to be flexible and respond to changing needs, both external and internal.
  • Possess a strong understanding of, and consistently deliver against, all contractual obligations, commercial arrangements, KPIs and SLAs with our client.
  • Remove barriers and find solutions to meet client needs. Communicate clearly with clients on recommendations and solutions as part of planning, briefing and review sessions,
  • Excellence in operational planning and execution.
  • Provide necessary data for budgets and constant reforecasting.
  • Ensure Business Director and Global SMEs informed on all matters relating to Production.
Innovations, initiatives, and best practice
  • Confidentially provide recommendations using knowledge, experience and data driven insights.
  • Design and implement efficiency and quality improvement initiatives within the studio.
  • Drive technology and tools, ensuring the production team are delivering in line with global initiatives.
  • Lead production into the future, ensuring team are equipped for success, driving professional development targets and upskilling the studio.
  • Be the go-to person within the studio for all technical and operational issues, translate technical requirements into everyday language for the benefit of the team and client.
  • Provide necessary data for budgets and constant reforecasting.
  • Use data to inform future planning and strategic insights.
  • Ensure management are aware of all issues and proposed solutions (including potential delays) to ensure swift resolution and avoid further escalation.
  • Act as a brand QC/Guardian - always ensure brand guidelines, QC checklists and procedures are followed.
Requirements:
  • Strong leadership skills, managing a team over multiple locations.
  • Studio production experience producing localised campaigns.
  • In-depth technical knowledge of print, colour retouching, and digital artwork production processes and best practices.
  • Knowledge of image and production-specific needs for image reproduction; including website builds, POS, Motion Graphics and email marketing.
  • Experience in financial management and understanding the importance of accurate financial forecasting.
  • Excellent spreadsheet skills in both Excel and Numbers.
  • Recruitment expertise. Able to brief resource manager and interview potential candidates for the studio team.
  • Flexible, creative, solution-oriented individual with extensive experience in using Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Attention to detail, analytical thinking ability and passion for the work are essential.
  • A hands-on, can-do approach to solving problems.
  • The ability to prioritise and work quickly and efficiently within very tight time frames.
