ABOUT THE ROLE Product Operations Managers at Careem are cross functional communicators and help shape the products using the voice of colleagues and users. They focus relently on smoothing the product development cycle by bringing alignments to key processes such as (but not limited to) Prioritization, Experimentation, Go to Market and rollouts. This role will be responsible for key domains within the Mobility Platform function of Careem and will work closely with Captain, Marketplace and our B2B product squads and operational counterparts. Key responsibilities include: Understand and communicate all upcoming product features and user experience changes to key stakeholders like Operations and City teamsWork with Product Managers to prepare Experiment and Go To Market plan for upcoming productsAnalyze data to help product management make better-informed decisions, handle all aspects from collection to analysisCoordinate and optimize rollout of features to accelerate time-to-market and time-to-valueOwn the configurations of critical products that require continuous monitoring and tweaking to improve user experience and maximize valueInvestigate and validate issues raised internally and externally on our product Driving cross-functional communications between product and external stakeholder teamsSet up, continuously improve, and lead the process for the resolution of issues reported by operations and city teamsOversee quality assurance checks on new featuresQualifications include: Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience3+ years' experience in one or more of the following areas: Product Management, Product Operations Management, Management Consulting, Strategy, Program Management, CustomerExperience, or equivalent Voice of Customer roleExperience driving complex projects or programs with several competing stakeholders in a software development and/or software launch readiness rolePassion and successful track record in organizational skills, championing great experiences, with attention to detail and craftsmanshipExcellent communication skills with any audience - executive, business, design or technology. Ability to explain complex concepts to people with no domain or technical knowledge andmake sure they understand the implicationsExperience in gathering data from multiple sources, generating insights and influencing stakeholders using this dataExperience working in an experimentation driven product environmentExperience working with cross-functional teams of engineers and data scientists to deliver world-class productsCuriosity and initiative to get to the root cause of any problem you encounterExperience with SQL, R or an equivalent data analytical languageWhat we'll provide youIn addition to a competitive long-term total compensation with salary and equity, we have a reward philosophy that expands beyond this.
