ABOUT THE ROLE
Product Operations Managers at Careem are cross functional communicators and help shape the products using the voice of colleagues and users. They focus relently on smoothing the product development cycle by bringing alignments to key processes such as (but not limited to) Prioritization, Experimentation, Go to Market and rollouts.
This role will be responsible for key domains within the Mobility Platform function of Careem and will work closely with Captain, Marketplace and our B2B product squads and operational counterparts.
Key responsibilities include:
Understand and communicate all upcoming product features and user experience changes to key stakeholders like Operations and City teams
Work with Product Managers to prepare Experiment and Go To Market plan for upcoming products
Analyze data to help product management make better-informed decisions, handle all aspects from collection to analysis
Coordinate and optimize rollout of features to accelerate time-to-market and time-to-value
Own the configurations of critical products that require continuous monitoring and tweaking to improve user experience and maximize value
Investigate and validate issues raised internally and externally on our product
Driving cross-functional communications between product and external stakeholder teams
Set up, continuously improve, and lead the process for the resolution of issues reported by operations and city teams
Oversee quality assurance checks on new features
Qualifications include:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience
3+ years' experience in one or more of the following areas: Product Management, Product Operations Management, Management Consulting, Strategy, Program Management, Customer
Experience, or equivalent Voice of Customer role
Experience driving complex projects or programs with several competing stakeholders in a software development and/or software launch readiness role
Passion and successful track record in organizational skills, championing great experiences, with attention to detail and craftsmanship
Excellent communication skills with any audience - executive, business, design or technology. Ability to explain complex concepts to people with no domain or technical knowledge andmake sure they understand the implications
Experience in gathering data from multiple sources, generating insights and influencing stakeholders using this data
Experience working in an experimentation driven product environment
Experience working with cross-functional teams of engineers and data scientists to deliver world-class products
Curiosity and initiative to get to the root cause of any problem you encounter
Experience with SQL, R or an equivalent data analytical language
