Job Description
Product Specialist/ Subject Matter Expert/ Business Analyst Manufacturing We are looking for Product Specialist experienced and specialized in Manufacturing processes across various industries. As a Product Specialist, you will be mainly working with the R&D team acting as a subject matter expert and interpreting, analyzing & documenting business requirements to create fit-for-purpose and enterprise-grade software. DESCRIPTION:
- Rolling up your sleeves and digging in, seeking to understand market demand, customer requirements and creatively translate them to system requirements.
- Contribute to the R&D lifecycle of our products via requirement analysis, functional designing, testing, documentation, and R&D support.
- Developing solution concepts, optimizing and implementing end-to-end processes and functionalities based on best practice approaches.
- Using techniques such as benchmarking to evaluate features and functionalities to create product requirements.
- Transform the requirement in well organize documents such as requirement traceability matrix, General Design, Architecture Design, and Detail Functional Design documents that suit the team\'s required level of understanding of the system.
- Performing detailed Gap analysis, Forward/Reverse Engineering.
- Perform solid prototyping/wireframing to visualize the working design prior to moving into development.
- Work closely with Software Engineering Team and Delivery Team to ensure continuous delivery of our products.
- Work closely with delivery team, pre sales team and marketing team to understand customer expectations and market need.
- Get involved guiding product demo and guiding customers in how to best utilize the OSOS products in relation to their business requirements.
- A university degree, or equivalent professional qualifications, in a field relevant to the functional area of responsibility.
- Expertise in Manufacturing business functionalities and processes.
- 3+ year of working experience with ERP systems.
- 2+ years of experience working in a similar role.
- Continuously expanding your functional and technical domain knowledge is a very important part of being a Product Specialist at OSOS.
- Must have hands-on in requirement gathering, elicitation, design, and documentation.
- Document Analysis, Facilitated Workshop, Focus Group and Prototyping (Storyboarding) etc.
- Experienced in advising customers; from scoping solutions to implementation and rollout.
- Having software development knowledge and experience before is a plus.
- Hands-on in Functional Testing, Regression Testing, and Integration Testing.
- Analytical Skills, creative and critical thinking, and negotiation skills.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and engagement.
