Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly creative and resourceful Product Development Designer to bring our brand's ideas to life across multiple product categories including footwear, leather goods, accessories, and lifestyle concepts. This role combines design innovation with hands-on development -- from sketching and ideating to sourcing factories, managing sample creation, and ensuring final production meets brand standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Concept Development & Design Translate creative briefs and founder's ideas into tangible product designs (sketches, technical drawings, 3D renders, mockups). Research trends, materials, and innovative design solutions that align with the brand's DNA. Build cohesive seasonal collections across footwear, leather goods, and new product lines. Sample Development & Factory Liaison Source, approach, and evaluate factories, suppliers, and artisans for product feasibility and quality. Oversee prototyping and sampling process, ensuring timelines, budgets, and design intent are met. Collaborate with factories to troubleshoot design challenges, adjust patterns, and refine prototypes. Production Management Prepare and maintain detailed technical packs (spec sheets, measurements, materials). Review and approve samples, ensuring alignment with brand quality, comfort, and finishing standards. Ensure smooth transition from sampling to production with minimal errors or delays. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with the founder, marketing, and branding teams to ensure designs reflect brand identity. Provide creative input for campaigns, lookbooks, and brand presentations. Innovation & Expansion Drive development of new product categories and concepts. Experiment with materials, techniques, and sustainable solutions for long-term product evolution.

Desired profile/ Qualifications:

Proven experience in fashion, footwear, or accessory design & development. Strong understanding of product construction, materials, and prototyping processes. Ability to create clear technical drawings and specifications. Experience working with factories and suppliers internationally. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and timelines. Creative mindset with a problem-solving approach. Proficiency in design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CAD) is a plus. Applicants
