Study, Research, Design & Develop various styles of office modular steel furniture for manufacturing, according to knowledge of design trends, offerings of competition, with a focus on function, safety, durability, aesthetic, and cost
Providing detailed responses for product and technical requests
Building proof-of-concept models and prototypes sample models
Working in multiple modalities that are critical to furniture (i.e., wood, metal, laminates, veneers)
Good Knowledge of Auto Cad & SOLID Works for generating Sample designs and detailed final product designs
Prepares itemized production requirements to produce item
Modify & improve existing product range of steel furniture to conform to the changes in design trends and to increase customer acceptance.

Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Mechanical engineering or equivalent experience
4+ years of design engineering experience, with expertise in office modular steel furniture specifically
Experience in selecting and specifying materials such as metals, Aluminum, Stainless steel, wood, Fabrics, laminates, veneers and foams and furniture hardware
Broad range of knowledge about common furniture manufacturing and production
Ability to produce quality work on-time and according to schedule / deadlines
Proficient in English - written and verbal communication skills

Job Type: Full-time Salary: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month Ability to commute/relocate:
