Your Role
- Coordinate technical projects (specific/creative & application) entered by sales team documenting all activities on Symrise platforms (PACE/SAP)
- Support execution of local as well as Business Unit strategies on technical level to support the speed to market approach in coordination with sales, marketing and technical team
- Develop compounds, emulsions and various beverage application/RTD formulations in coordination with Symrise formulation guidelines
- Optimize products, compound and emulsions and continue to update Symrise BOM and raw material solutions
- Provide contact for key customers for technical support, as well as for Sales Account Managers. Represent the company on a strongly performed technical level to pioneer, develop and maintain customer-supplier relationships.
- Maintain the local flavor / raw material portfolio
- Ensure all lab activities are in compliance with legal and Symrise guidelines, regulations and GLP
- Perform sensory and product evaluations including market products for internal and external meetings
- Support QC with RM / FP evaluation and troubleshooting problems related to product technicalities in operation whenever needed
- Support scale-up for new products in collaboration with our customers
- Attend sensory sessions and assist sensory validation processes in coordination with SCI
About You
- BSc in Chemistry, Food Science or equivalent
- At least 5 years of professional activity as a Product/Application Development Technologist or similar in the same industry
- Completion of PADT Training
- Good knowledge of Raw materials & Beverage application technologies
- Knowledge of industrial processes at customers
- Food safety and hygiene
- Very good command of English
- Systems knowledge (SAP/PACE)
- Ability to drive customer intimacy/relationship
