As part of their growth, we are recruiting a UAE experienced purchasing executive to join their Ras Al Khaimah head office in RAKEZ.
The role is responsible for the timely local procurement of materials, equipment and services at competitive prices.
Role Summary
Manage procurement activities - vendor sourcing, price and terms negotiation; vendor management to minimize substandard products and services and implement corrective action plans.
Liaise with suppliers to ensure orders are delivered on time and accurately.
Coordinate with the warehouse team to manage inventory control of equipment and materials; ensure adequate stock levels are maintained.
Support the finance department with inventory reconciliations, audits and invoicing.
Mandatory Skills & Experience
5 \xe2\x80\x93 7 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in mechanical engineering or ding materials procurement with strong working knowledge of RAKEZ regulations.
Experience of reviewing material specifications and product quality; analyzing quotations and making procurement recommendations.
Vendor management \xe2\x80\x93 experience of evaluating suppliers based on quality, price and delivery.
Advanced Microsoft Excel and EPR skills.
Candidate Profile
Currently living in the United Arab Emirates \xe2\x80\x93 must be able to live and work in Ras Al Khaimah.
Fluent in English \xe2\x80\x93 must be able to read, write and speak English with the ability to communicate with vendors and suppliers.
Professional appearance with excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
Education
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Mechanical Engineering is a strong advantage
