Job Description

Job Purpose:

To support the Purchases department in streamlining procurement and supply chain operations, ensuring cost efficiency, timely material availability, and continuous improvement in supplier performance. The role bridges between suppliers, internal departments, and logistics providers to optimize purchasing and supply chain processes

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement Support



Process purchase requests and prepare purchase orders in line with company procedures. Identify reliable suppliers, obtain quotations, and participate in vendor evaluation. Negotiate terms for price, delivery, and payment with suppliers. Maintain updated supplier records, contracts, and pricing agreements.

Supply Chain Coordination



Track purchase orders and ensure timely deliveries from suppliers. Monitor inventory levels and support stock replenishment planning. Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to resolve delivery discrepancies. Support demand forecasting to minimize stock shortages and excess.

Optimization & Reporting



Collect and analyse procurement and supply chain data (cost, lead time, service level). Identify inefficiencies in the purchasing cycle and suggest improvements. Prepare regular reports on cost savings, supplier performance, and procurement KPIs. Assist in implementing ERP/automation tools for better supply chain visibility.

Compliance & Quality



Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and industry standards. Coordinate with the Quality team to ensure purchased goods meet specifications. Support sustainability initiatives and ethical sourcing practices.

Qualifications & Skills:



Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field. 2-4 years of experience in procurement or supply chain operations (manufacturing experience is a plus). Knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and supply chain practices. Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/Dynamics) and advanced Excel reporting. Strong analytical skills for data-driven decision-making. Good communication and negotiation skills. Attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
