Job Description
Reporting to: General Manager - Zayani Foods Job Role: To Assist/support Divisional Manger with System assigned, communicational, logical and clerical job roles in associated with subjected jobs with below key roles.
- Excellent working skills in MS Excel \xe2\x80\x93 Deep level
- Buying: Forecasting / planning / ordering / monitoring active inventories.
- Sourcing: New business requirements \xe2\x80\x93 Routine inventory related with extra supports when required to other departments.
- Logistics & Shipping: With agreed incoterms from Vendors till Retail outlets on actual approved requirements.
- Inventory Management: Warehouse based stock flows to retail outlets on actual requirements and its system updates.
- Inventory System & Manual Entries: For received stocks and retail outlet flows.
- Costing: To generate and update actual landing costs for accounting/operation requirements for accurate cost of sales & Profit and loss. Recipe/Retail/POS /Margins etc. will be confirming based on this costing.
- Franchise Partner / Parent Supplier forecasting, ordering and stock position reports
- Finding & Managing Overseas and Local suppliers for business requirements in its best feasible ways.
- Warehouse Management: Receiving major shipments / Handling and transferring stocks.
- To negotiate with suppliers regarding prices, payment terms and delivery schedule and other conditions most suitable for ZF to help with cash flow.
- Transportation : Time to time warehouse orders and arranging required temperature controlled consolidated transportation facilities ( Warehouse to stores ) with cost saving plans.
- Periodical Inventories and Shrinkage reports for Warehouse based stocks.
- Manage contracts and credit terms with store Inventory related local and overseas suppliers.
- Inventory and audit supports for Franchise / Internal / External Audits in demands.
- Cost effective Air/Sea/Road Freight management for all Divisions including inventories and other supportive divisions, which includes \xe2\x80\x93 Operations / Projects / Maintenance / Marketing.
- To get required approvals from Ministry of Health, Ministry of environments, Customs affairs Etc.
- To provide monthly Purchase records with all supporting documents and Invoices to finance team for accounting perspectives.
- To Issue Purchase orders with all required approvals and to release required payments in co-ordination with accounts department.
- To keep track of pending purchase orders and maintain delivery schedule in such a way to avoid overstocking, understocking and stoppage of sale etc.
- To keep track on Shelf Lives of Perishable Stock in order / Stocks in transit / Stocks in storage or warehouse to consume it in a better way or to get available Shelf life Certificates after its required QC and Lab Tests.
- To arrange customs clearances of imports and coordinate with warehouse for the timely receipt of goods for unloading.
- Time to time market trend reviews to check the availability of Alternative or approves Brand/products with better prices/credit/commercial terms.
- To develop new suppliers for existing and new items ensuring same or better quality and reduction in cost when required in the light of tough market competition and pressure.
- To follow-up for rejection and slow moving stocks lying in the warehouse and help in disposal of the same.
- To maintain minimum stock level of all the items and monitor the inventory on regular basis, and immediately place orders for items below minimum stock level with the supports of Item trend and consumption reports.
- To plan and execute immediate/urgent sourcing if required or if it is mandatory to keep business/brand goodwill.
