Job Description
Procurement Specialist - Oil & Gas
Manage end-to-end procurement for Oil & Gas materials, equipment, and services including RFQs, tenders, bid evaluation, and contract award Source and negotiate with OEMs, EPCs, and approved vendors to ensure cost efficiency and technical compliance Coordinate with engineering, operations, and projects teams to align procurement with technical specifications and project timelines Prepare and issue purchase orders, contracts, and frame agreements in line with company and regulatory standards Ensure compliance with ADNOC / API / ISO standards, HSE requirements, and local content policies Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, and quality compliance Conduct commercial evaluations, cost analysis, and vendor benchmarking Manage contracts, variations, claims, and renewals Maintain accurate procurement documentation, audits, and reporting Support strategic sourcing, long-term agreements, and supplier development initiatives
Key Skills & Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field 4-8 years of Oil & Gas procurement experience Strong knowledge of Oil & Gas materials, valves, piping, rotating equipment, and services Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) Familiarity with ADNOC, Aramco, or major IOC procurement processes (preferred) Strong negotiation, contract management, and stakeholder coordination skills
