Job Description

The Role

• Expert in purchasing process from selecting suppliers to ensuring stock optimization, as well as provide guidance on sourcing and procurement processes. \xe2\x80\xa2 Developing procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective. \xe2\x80\xa2 Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms. \xe2\x80\xa2 Handling local and international market sourcing. \xe2\x80\xa2 Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-going feasibility. \xe2\x80\xa2 Building and maintaining long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers. \xe2\x80\xa2 Managing a team, of buyers. \xe2\x80\xa2 Organizing and confirming on time delivery/arrival of goods. \xe2\x80\xa2 Performing risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements. \xe2\x80\xa2 Controlling the procurement budget and promoting a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs. \xe2\x80\xa2 Preparing procurement reports as required by Management.

Requirements

• University Degree in Supply Chain or Related field \xe2\x80\xa2 Five or more years\' experience in the FMCG Distribution industry mainly in Food Sector. \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience in the meat import is an added advantage \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent communnication skill oral and writeen \xe2\x80\xa2 Advance knowledge of Ms Excel . \xe2\x80\xa2 Familier or Working knowledge of ERP system such as JD or Oracle. \xe2\x80\xa2 Highly organised and detailed oriented \xe2\x80\xa2 Good Negotiation skill \xe2\x80\xa2 Team Player
