Job Purpose
Responsible for the purchase of goods or services from specified suppliers, ensuring timely response and
delivery upon agreed terms and conditions. Assists in the processes of purchasing, logistics, equipment
transfers and invoice coding. Works with buyers, engineering, planning, project controls, construction,
HSE and quality to ensure purchase order requirements are understood and complied with by the
supplier.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for the purchase of goods or services from specified suppliers, ensuring timely response and
delivery upon agreed terms and conditions. Assists in the processes of purchasing, logistics, equipment
transfers and invoice coding. Works with buyers, engineering, planning, project controls, construction,
HSE and quality to ensure purchase order requirements are understood and complied with by the
supplier.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Supports user in purchase request definition when needed
- Search for preferred suppliers and existing channels to attend purchase requests
- Leads RFQ and update prices for channel defined requests
- Chooses the best supplier in term of price, quality, and lead time
- Ensures that a PO is created correctly (location info, currencies, quantity, etc.), follows up any
- Supplier PO Creation and Dispatch to Supplier.
- Supervise compliance of terms and conditions for catalogue purchases
- Proposes buying channels changes / improvements to process when required to Sourcing
- Ensures full compliance with Assurance, SQS and TCC policies
- Maintain knowledge of market industry trends within area of expertise and communicate
- Support the development and deployment of Supply Chain policies and processes, and ensure
- Work with Sourcing, Supplier managers and users to ensure internal customer needs are met.
- Provide support to the accounting department for invoicing process
What we are looking for:
Education
- Degree in a Professional Discipline such as Engineering, Business, Economics.
- Strong Working Experience; with minimum 5 Year in Supply Chain Management.
- Progressive experience working in cross-functional, multicultural teams.
- Global Experience in Sourcing, Supplier Management, Contract Management and Negotiations.
- Deep analytical and financial skills.
- Versatile in analytics and problem solving.
- Comprehensive knowledge on procurement process; from purchasing to payment and sourcing
- Proficient in Supply Chain Systems and Digital tools.
- Strategic sourcing and procurement expertise
- Contract negotiation and management skills
- Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
- Project management and cross-functional collaboration
- Risk management and mitigation strategies
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards
- Knowledge of e-sourcing tools and technologies
- Advanced English proficiency required
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and e-sourcing tools
- Previous experience as Supplier, Sourcing or Contract Specialist at a reputable organization.
- Experience in Supply Chain Transformation; innovating process, systems and digital
