1 The procurement specialist with category specialty in Office Support, IT, FM, Fit Out, Marketing, and General Services experience must have the following responsibilities: Must
2 Develop bids for assigned goods and services. Must
3 Evaluate bids to ensure compliance with specifications. Must
4 Prepare contract documents and bidders list, including inquiry preparations and requests for bids. Must
5 Prepare award analysis and recommendations and develop award presentation for Tender Committee approvals. Must
6 Negotiate contracts' terms and conditions with vendors. Must
7 Develop contract standards and maintain ERP contracts module by creating and maintaining approved clauses and contract templates. Must
8 Ensure protection of Aldar Education's interest in all contractual agreements to mitigate any identified risks. Must
9 Review agreements in coordination with the legal team for contractual matters, mainly related to contract clauses for non-standard contracts, contractual claims, and disputes. Must
10 Review requests for variation orders and ensure reasonable market pricing, liaising with requester/consultants for any clarifications. Must
11 Draft procurement contracts, agreements, variation orders, and formal correspondences. Must
12 Maintain detailed contract records, providing performance information, and contract documentation related to bank guarantees, performance bonds, insurance policies, etc. Must
13 Maintain relations with preferred vendors to ensure procurement of high-quality goods/services, expedient delivery, and dependable service at an optimum price. Must
14 Maintain track of the procurement plan to achieve department goals and KPIs. Must
15 Assist in managing the signing and distribution of contracts, tracking the expiry of the agreements, and ensuring their timely renewal/replacement. Must
16 Support in developing new contractual templates as and when needed by different organization departments in coordination and collaboration with the legal team. Preferred
17 Analyze markets to determine vendors' sources and product availability. Preferred
18 Compile and prepare reports and analyses setting forth progress, adverse trends, and appropriate recommendations or conclusions. Preferred
19 Ability to develop dashboards would be an added asset. Preferred
20 Ensure compliance with corporate governance. Must
21 Receive requests, obtain estimates, update records, initiate paperwork, and follow up on the request for approval of work not previously covered in the contract; process and obtain approval of contract changes. Must
22 Establish and update records of all correspondence related to contract activity. Must
23 As necessary, liaise with Legal, for clarification and direction about legal aspects and liabilities. Must
24 Periodically review and check contracts to ensure compliance. Preferred
25 Maintain proper source channels for potential suppliers. Preferred
26 Manage and control all legal documents for the vendor during registration (NDA, Trade License, Profile). Preferred
27 Pre-Qualification grading for all vendors. Preferred
28 Document control. Must
29 Minimum graduate-level degree or related Procurement/Contracts specific qualification. Must
30 A minimum of 6 years' experience in procurement within the region with at least 2 years in contracts related roles within a corporate environment. Having education procurement experience is preferable. Must
31 Knowledge of contractual terms and conditions, insurance requirements. Preferred
32 Arabic speaker is a must. Must
33 Fluent English communication skills, written and oral. Must
34 Excellent attention to detail with diligent follow-up and ability to execute in a timely manner. Must
35 Skilled in multi-tasking and handling pressure. Must
36 Excellent interpersonal skills. Must
